STH MNC 16 :

The Armada STH 16 is a low-built freeski binding – built specially for wide powder and park & pipe skis. Its high-impact steel housing stands up against the most punishing skiing, while the shock-absorbing Progressive Transfer Pads cushion the hardest landings. The Oversized Platform enables you to transfer more power to the ski while the self-retracting Freeski Brakes come into their own on switch landings and in soft snow, eliminating hang-ups and drag on powder. The height-adjustable STH MNC 16 is compatible with WTR soles, and stepping into the binding is easy even in deep powder. Finally, a maximum release value of 16 makes this the ideal binding for aggressive skiers.

 

 

Low Profile Chassis : This binding has a lower stand height than most hybrid touring bindings (26mm), bringing the skier closer to the ski, giving the skier a lower center of gravity which is preferred while skiing powder or freeride terrain.

Oversized Platform: A super wide (71 mm) platform ensures maximum lateral power transmission, especially on wider skis.

Ultra Wide Base: The base of this binding measures in at 80mm which increases balance and performance to match up with wider powder skis while ripping turns or dropping cliffs.

Stomp Pedal Shock Absorber: Essentially what these means is that the plastic directly beneath the toe of your boot is a little flexier than the other parts of the binding, which helps absorb some shock (like in bumps or landing jumps).

Freeski Brakes:  Self retracting brakes adapted to modern skis and practices. Eliminates hang ups on switch landings.

WTR (Walk to Ride):  Compatible with grip-soled, Walk to Ride boot soles as well as traditional ISO Alpine 5355 soles.
